Kunard Wilson LLC is a new North Carolina consulting firm intended to provide support for the development and execution of local government capital improvement programs.

Both Principals served in responsible design/construction management positions in local governments for a combined 75 years. We are experienced in government procurement processes, coordination of A/E design, and construction management of government facilities. We are focused on support to local governments for capital improvement programs and large projects to augment and mentor project management for public works staff. Services are:

· Expert Third-party review of project schedules and costs in design and construction

· Extensive experience on effective citizen oversight of large budget projects

· Owners Representation on large projects with A/E and CMAR firms

· Detailed Cost Estimate review and Escalation analysis

· Development of Transparent, Effective Change Order Policies and Procedures

Having worked for the Government in positions of responsibility, we understand the constraints of public work and procurement regulations. We have used a variety of project delivery methods such as:

· Design – Bid – Build.  A/E selection, Bid review/ award, CM in house or CEI

· Design – Build. DB selection/ award, Design review, Construction monitoring

· Construction Manager at Risk. CMAR selection. GMP review/negotiation, Construction monitoring of cost, progress, quality

Our experience includes a wide variety of large projects, $10M to $100M including
